Guilty Cheesecake was born from a simple obsession: the perfect Basque cheesecake. We're three friends from Spain, with Basque roots, who grew up around the burnt, creamy, impossibly good cheesecake that the Basque Country made famous. What started as a recipe passed around among us became something we couldn't stop thinking about, even after we landed in San Diego.

We didn't want to just find a good cheesecake here, we wanted to bring the cheesecake, the one that tastes like home. So we packed the recipe, the technique, and a bit of Basque stubbornness, and started baking it right here in San Diego, made fresh and delivered straight to your door.

Every cheesecake we make is a small piece of the Basque Country: burnt on top, creamy in the middle, and made with the same care as if we were still baking it back home.
